Why do you think I keep socializing reading in this manner?

Right now, good people, our nation is in a serious crisis.

Why?

81% of children under 10 cannot read for meaning and only 36% of households own a single fiction or non-fiction book.

The lifestyle of reading, isn’t just an education problem. It is a culture problem.

Years ago, I started advocating for socialising reading and introduced the concept of Reading Dates #ReadingDatesByYourFavouriteReadingActivist

The mission was simple: anchor books to the one thing humans already love to do…. socialise.

My latest Reading Date was absolutely divine. The intimacy and boom reflections ran incredibly deep, proving that books thrive in community, not isolation.
